If you have had skin cancer and need life insurance, we can help you.
Whether you had basal cell skin cancer, squamous cell skin cancer or malignant melanoma, there are a number of life insurance companies available to you.
Basal Cell Skin Cancer – Basal cell skin cancer is of little concern to life insurance underwriters once it has been treated. We have a number of companies that will consider you for their “preferred” rates and in some cases their “preferred best” life insurance rates.
Squamous Cell Skin Cancer – localized squamous cell skin cancer is non rated for life insurance once it has been removed. We have a number of companies willing to make aggressive life insurance offers to you.
Malignant Melanoma – With malignant melanoma, life insurance underwriting is based on the TNM staging of the malignant melanoma. Life insurance underwriters want to know the TNM staging, the Clark’s Level, any recurrence, and location of the melanoma. Underwriting offers when available will typically include a postpone period from the time treatment is completed until life insurance is available. In addition, life insurance rates may include an additional charge called a flat extra that is added to the “standard rate”.
